Welcome.

My name is Sebastiaan Paul Bavinck, but I’m known to most as just Bas. I was born and raised in a city called Utrecht, which is located in the heart of the Netherlands.

I discovered Wizard-style Skating about five years ago during the first COVID lockdowns. After seeing Shaun Unwin on YouTube I ended up watching ‘The Wizard of Wall Street’ with Leon Basin. That movie was the spark the lit the fire inside of me like so many others before me . I became deeply interested and obsessed with flow, creativity, and personal style on skates.

Publishing this book marks a shift for me. I am now exploring how to build something meaningful around Wizard-style Skating, through teaching, community, and shared practice.
